Lunch & Learn - Communication and Conflict Resolution in the Workplace

Amanda Riess is an Account Manager working in the Clemans, Nelson & Associates, Inc. Columbus office. She assists clients in areas of discipline, internal investigations, arbitrations, employee relations audits,  labor relations and negotiations, policy development, compensation studies, crisis communications, and a variety of other human resources and management issues. She provides workplace trainings in areas including civility in the workplace, bullying, ethics, the use of technology and social media, discriminatory harassment, leadership, supervisor fundamentals, and other topics based on the needs of the client. Amanda is a SHRM certified Workplace Investigator and frequently presents at conferences for a variety of professional organizations.
Prior to returning to her native Northwest Ohio, Amanda was a litigation attorney for 14 years in Illinois. Amanda holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from Otterbein University, a J.D. from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law, and is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois.
